This week: Sucker Moon Teachings including writing cleansing words for family on birch bark fish and letting them go into the water. Based on traditional teachings, our Bundle program helps parents and caregivers assemble their own personal bundle, made up of scared items, both physical and spiritual, that can assist in child rearing. Families with children aged 0 – 6 are welcome.

Join us for a Parenting Bundle Special Event! We’ll start with dinner in the Earth Room of the Wabano Centre, then parents will move to the Grand Gathering Space to listen to Special Guest Brian Peltier talk about revitalizing Indigenous languages and the kids will join our early childhood educators in the basement for cultural activities! Come sew, bead and embroider a family tree of life to donate to Wabano’s June Gala auction; month long project Based on traditional teachings, our Bundle program helps parents and caregivers assemble their own personal bundle, made up of scared items, both physical and spiritual, that can assist in child rearing.
