Soup’s On

For our first Soup's on event of 2019 we are having a PJ party! Come hang out with your kids in your comfy clothes and watch a movie over a warm bowl of soup! Baby’s Bundle

An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until February 27, 2019

Based on traditional teachings, our Bundle program helps parents and caregivers assemble their own personal bundle, made up of scared items, both physical and spiritual, that can assist in child rearing. Families with children aged 0 – 6 are welcome. February will feature teachings around Indigenous calendars with a focus on the Bear Moon (Ojibwe), the Great Moon (Cree), the Late Moon (Mohawk) and the Midwinter Festival (Mohawk-Haudenosaunee).

We Sit Together

Come out and make Valentine's Day cards with us! Art and culture are the heart of Wabano Kids Early Years programming. We share culture through making art, traditional games & songs, storytelling, being involved in ceremony and learning of Indigenous languages. No previous art experience is necessary to participate in our art workshops. All art supplies will be provided. Our art making workshops feature nontoxic materials. These workshops are open to all age groups. Families are welcome!
