Post Natal – Plant Pool Outing
We’re heading out for pool time with our Post-Natal Group again! As always, transportation to the pool is provided - please arrive at 10:30am if you need a lift, or feel free to meet us at the Plant Pool for 11am at 930 Somerset St W, Ottawa, ON K1R 6R9. Explore Food as Medicine with our Parenting Bundle cultural parenting program this week. We focus on traditional teachings and crafts, led by knowledge keepers and elders. Based on traditional Indigenous teachings, our Bundle program helps parents and caregivers assemble their own personal bundle, made up of sacred items, both physical and spiritual, that can assist in child rearing. Families with children aged 0 – 6 are welcome.

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, so we’re all about shamrocks, leprechauns and pots of gold this week at our fun and crafty We Sit Together group! Remember, all supplies are included, and always non-toxic. We’ll be serving delicious Fish and Chips for dinner, so bring your appetite!

We’re pleased to once again welcome a special guest librarian from the Vanier Library to talk about encouraging the love of reading in our Parenting Circle! We’ll be making our own Mini Pizzas for lunch. Each Parenting Circle is a time for Indigenous parents, grandparents and caregivers to discuss developmental milestones and self-care while children socialize.
